Starbucks launched nine tea drinks in its stores in China Thursday, marking its first venture into the country's tea drinks market.
The drinks include three traditional Chinese teas, four unconventional teas and two specialty drinks, according to Huang Limin, Starbucks Greater China's marketing director.
Also, the coffee giant added tea cups, teapots and other tea accessories to its collection of coffee merchandise.
There are more than 700 Starbucks coffee houses in greater China, including 360 on the mainland.
